So, the other day, Armistead asked me if I knew of any restaurants in DC that would be a good “parents-meeting-girlfriend-for-the-first-time” spot. Despite having grown up there, most of the places I know are either closed now (oh, Burrito Brothers, why do your ghosts of burritos past haunt me? so, so tasty.), or are too low-end for such a significant event.
